The following is a short rundown of some of the more notable projects I have worked on. I often serve many roles with each project, such as Cold Fusion Developer, PHP web developer, database designer, web designer, web developer, web producer, search engine optimization specialist, marketing consultant, business analyst and system administrator just to name a few.

DIRECTRV.COM: Privately owned recreational vehicle rentals; Glendale, Arizona; http://www.directrv.com; Responsible for: The whole tamale... concept, content, HTML and PHP programming, technical architecture, design and hosting.; In house project for Online Brands Inc. Programmed using custom PHP 5 object oriented framework. Utilizes MySQL database (Classic LAMP stack). Programmed applications include user photo management, user access control, login and password applications, content management.

Owner's Rental Inc. of Arizona: RV rental referral service; Glendale, Arizona; http://www.ownersrental.com; Responsible for: design, HTML and PHP programming, database, content, graphics and hosting.; This site utilizes an extensive back end system written in PHP for content management and tracking. Site templates and design features are localized for easy site administration. Content is driven via a MySQL database. Site is currently ranked #1 at Google for its top two search terms.

Charlene M. Ives, CPA, PC: Arizona certified public accountant; Mesa, Arizona; http://www.cmicpa.com; Responsible for: HTML and PHP programming, design, structure, search engine optimization and hosting.; Site redesign included reorganization and restructuring of site and data, creation of MySQL database to house online content, programming of back end content management system using Object Oriented PHP Framework, and a front end redesign using the latest CSS and XHTML standards. Recoding of front end HTML reduced the amount of HTML an average of 75% or more resulting in faster page loading and render times. All work was performed with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in mind.

VacationHomes.com: Vacation rentals web site; Mesa, Arizona; http://www.vacationhomes.com; Responsible for: HTML, Cold Fusion, and PHP programming, content marketing, functionality, system administration and search engine optimization.; Designed and developed a number of back end processes aimed at improving the sites overall performance, general effectiveness, usability, and search engine rankings. Worked with management to strategically plan and program applications that collected business minded intelligence and helped to better manage the site. Was responsible for maintaining the 24/7 high volume and availability demands using open source tools such as Linux, Apache, PHP, and MySQL. Converted a number of the sites applications from Cold Fusion to PHP. Normalized database tables. Cleaned up and rewrote much of the front end HTML to meet validation requirements. Wrote promotional copy and technical documentation. Worked closely with management on both online and offline marketing initiatives. Helped build the site to be one of the most popular vacation home rental web sites on the Internet until it was acquired in the summer of 2005.

Canyon State Imaging Inc.: X-ray equipment, service and supply company; Phoenix, Arizona; http://www.canyonstate.com; Responsible for: design, HTML and PHP programming, database, content, graphics and hosting.; I was approached to build a web site for Canyon State Imaging Inc. that would give them a presence on the Internet with some basic interactive administration features. Dynamic features were built using PHP and MySQL. Wrote both front end copy and technical documentation for the site, as well as worked to improve the sites overall search engine rankings.

SuperTrike ™: Manufacturer of custom V8 trikes; Las Cruces, New Mexico; http://www.v-8trikes.com; Responsible for: design, HTML and PHP programming, search engine optimization and hosting.; This site started out as a cleanup of an old site. Once the project got underway, the site received a completely new design.

Don Galloway, CRS: Scottsdale real estate agent; Scottsdale, Arizona; http://www.isellarizona.com; Responsible for: design, HTML and PHP programming, development, database, content, graphics and hosting.; With an aim toward the upscale real estate market in Phoenix, this client was looking for a site that was both clean and professional and that highlighted his professional credentials. The color scheme, consisting of popular colors for Southwestern culture, also helps to round out the overall design and its Southwestern base. On a technical level, the site consists of a complete back end control area for content management that was built using PHP and MySQL. Design features, graphics and templates are localized for easy site administration.

Arizona Sun RV: RV park in Quartzsite, Arizona; http://www.arizonasunrv.com; Responsible for: design, HTML programming and hosting.; Overall, a simple and pleasing site to make a presence on the web. I chose to keep with bright colors and to exaggerate the size of the logo and make it a main design element to reinforce the fact that while much of the country finds itself buried in snow over the winter, there is plenty of sunshine to be found here.

Arizona Cardinals: Official NFL Cardinals football team website; Phoenix, Arizona; http://www.azcardinals.com; Responsible for: PHP programming, database and functionality.; (Contracted through TSG IT Resources, now TEK systems). Converted site which was originally written in the Cold Fusion scripting language to PHP. Involved extensive rewriting of all back end web applications and front end display framework. Involved extensive rewriting of SQL queries as well as a database redesign, conversion and normalization of database data. My contribution to the site was all behind the scenes programming, I did not have a hand in the design work.

Insight Enterprises, Inc.: Fortune 1000 company, direct marketer of computers, hardware and software; Phoenix, Arizona; http://www.insight.com; Responsible for: PHP programming and documentation.; (Contracted through CDI Corp). Worked on a team of programmers to implement a gateway application to tie together two legacy systems utilizing PHP. In addition to coding, maintained project documentation and assisted in application design. Site source code was tracked via CVS (Concurrent Versioning System).
